From My Notebook – Small pages from life. Not to teach, but to remind us that none of us is ever truly alone.

Before Every Title, I Am Human

There are thoughts that are not born in a psychologist’s office.

They are born on a quiet morning, with a cup of coffee in your hands. During a walk with no destination. On a difficult day. In a laugh that lasted a little longer than expected. In a loss that left behind more questions than answers.

For many years, I believed that a psychologist should always have the right words. Always know. Always understand. Never fall apart.

With time, I discovered something far more beautiful.

Before every title, I am human.

That realization changed the way I see my profession, but even more, the way I see life.

Psychology gave me knowledge.

Life, however, gave me something even more valuable: understanding. And that is the wisdom I try to carry with me every single day, both as a human being and as a psychologist.

What No Book Can Teach

No university can teach you what it feels like to lose, to hope, to forgive, or to begin again.

Those lessons can only be learned by living.

The answers I searched for so desperately were never hidden in the pages of books.

I found them in the fears I had to face, in the mistakes that humbled me, in the disappointments that helped me grow, in the people I loved who changed me, and in the laughter that returned when I thought it had disappeared forever.

That is why, in this notebook, I do not write as a psychologist.

I write as a person who is still learning about life—just like all of us.

Why I Started Taking Notes

I have been afraid.

I have made mistakes.

I have cried.

I have questioned myself.

I have stayed longer than I should have, and I have walked away sooner than I should have.

I have loved people who did not know how to love.

I have laughed until I cried, and I have cried until I found myself laughing again.

Somewhere along the way, I started taking notes.

Not because I wanted to teach.

But because I didn’t want to forget.

I didn’t want to forget what it feels like to become small in the face of a great fear.

What it feels like to hope, to be disappointed, and to find the strength to stand up once again.

What it feels like to laugh at something completely ordinary, only hours after believing that nothing could ever make you smile again.

What This Notebook Is

This notebook is not a diary.

It is not a psychology book.

It is not a collection of advice.

It is a collection of small pages from life.

Thoughts born in everyday moments.

Some are gentle.

Some are funny.

Some are difficult.

Moments that made me pause for a while and look at life a little more closely.

Why I Chose to Share It With You

I decided to share these pages with you because I believe that, no matter how different our lives may seem, there are emotions that connect us all.

Fear.

Love.

Disappointment.

Hope.

Sadness.

Anger.

The joy that arrives when we least expect it.

If, while reading these pages, you ever find yourself thinking,

“I’ve felt that way too…”

then this notebook will have already fulfilled its purpose.

Because sometimes the greatest gift we can offer one another is not a solution.

It is the comforting reminder that we are not alone.

Welcome…

Turn the page.

Without even realizing it,

you may discover that a small part of it belongs to you too.

The End…
